Thaarai Thappattai, a musical drama written, produced and directed by Bala is the most recent film to have released under the banner, B Studios.This is the second time Cheziyan Ra is handling camerawork for a Bala’s film, with the first time being for Paradesi. Isaignani Ilayaraaja scored the music for Thaarai Thappattai and it should be noted that this is his 1000th film. G. Sasikumar was roped in as the editor of the film. Starring Sasikumar and Varalaxmi Sarathkumar in the lead, the film released on 14th of January 2016 to mixed reviews and grossed average collection at the box office.
